* An update requested from SHALE
Shale started a player 18 mins after the Thursday night deadline. I saw his name on the sheet ( the unopened sheet that everyone can view) After the game. I was coming to the site to send him a pm to remind him that if he had played someone that night, the pick would be invalid. He had already pm'ed me trying to justify why the pick should count. I went into the google hard copy to double check the time stamp of his selection and to make sure there was no issues i didnt know about before making my decision. In doing so, I saw his selection was Travis Kelce, indeed 18 mins late and there was no previous picks by him i had accidently erased from the sheet, as some people occasionallly try to submit a player before ive posted the new week.
I sent him back a pm, telling him his pick was 18 mins late, anyone in the contest could point this out, and that he was free to select another te. He is upset that I was able to see his selection and feels the contest isint as secure as he thought. I told him there is no way to truly lock the contest form when you are the creator of the form. We switched to google docs years ago, before that everyone would simply email or pm me there picks, so this was a way of giving me less access. I have also posted all my early picks (good or bad) trying to negate any perceived advantage I might have.
I do not appreciate the tone of his pm's, honestly its not the first time ive felt this way with him over the years, I told him moving forward he won't be invited back or I might simply choose not to run this contest on here anymore.
I wanted to loop everyone into the conversation.
